He held the position of Chairman of the Fine Arts Committee at the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Riyadh between 1985 AD and 1995 AD. education He obtained a diploma from the Teachers Institute in 1962 AD (1382 AH). He worked as a supervisor for the studio of the Youth Club in Riyadh from 1967 AD to 1975 AD. He worked as a painter and supervised the drawing and calligraphy department in Saudi TV between 1970 AD and 1999 AD. He worked as a teacher of art education until 1976. He participated in the Arab Fine Arts Forum in the cities of Riyadh, Qatif, Hail, Unaizah, Dawadmi and Quneitra in Morocco. He supervised many art exhibitions and forums, including the (Saudi Fine Arts Forum), which was held in Jubail in 2017, with the participation of 120 male and female plastic artists with 180 artistic paintings that are dominated by modernity and experimentation with various materials. Honoring The Fine Arts Committee honored him at the National Festival for Heritage and Culture in 2008. He was honored by the Jeddah Atelier of Fine Arts in 2009, in appreciation of his great efforts in serving and enriching the Saudi plastic movement. Honored at the "Thalutiyat Al-Mousa" in Riyadh in 2017. The Saudi Society for Fine Arts (JSFIT) honored him in 2018 at the opening of the exhibition (Allegiance and Loyalty) in appreciation of his artistic career and his role in enriching plastic art in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. his death The artist, Saad Abdullah Al-Obaid, died on September 29, 2020, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
