Opening of the Youth Arts Awards Exhibition and the fifth Farouk Hosni Arts Awards distribution ceremony

Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, Engineer Naguib Sawiris, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Farouk Hosni Foundation for Culture and Arts, and members of the Board of Trustees, opened the youth collective exhibition and the arts awards ceremony for the fifth session of 2024, at the Gezira Arts Center, in the presence of a large number of artists, critics, prominent figures, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, and diplomatic figures. The most prominent of them are Dr. Sameh Farid, the former Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Anani, the former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Mostafa Al-Feki, a member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Moumena Kamel, a member of the Board of Trustees, the writer Muhammad Salmawi, and Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, the head of the Museum of Civilization.
The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a classical music concert, and the ceremony, presented by media personality Jasmine Zaki, a member of the Board of Trustees, began with a recorded message from the artist Farouk Hosni, expressing his apology for not attending as he was in a period of recovery after suffering a recent health illness. Then he greeted Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture and Attendance, and Hanaa’ the youth, wishing them a bright future. More creativity and excellence,
Engineer Naguib Sawiris, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, gave a speech in which he appreciated the role of the Ministry of Culture in sponsoring the Foundation’s activities. He also thanked Minister Nevin Kilani, Minister of Culture, and all the print and visual media for their constant support for the Foundation and the interest in all the activities it offers to creative and distinguished youth, discovering them and presenting them to society. He congratulated all the winners. And the participants in the group exhibition of the fifth session of the Arts Awards for the year 2024, wishing them continued success
The Arts Awards ceremony began with the Grand Merit Award, and a documentary film about the great writer Sanaa Al-Bisi was shown. The Minister of Culture, Nevin Al-Kilani, and the writer, Mohamed Salmawi, handed the award to the great writer, Sanaa Al-Bisi. Then, the great writer, Sanaa Al-Bisi, addressed a word of thanks to the institution and the artist Farouk Hosni, expressing her happiness with this honor in the audience. The crowd of young artists expressed their thanks to Her Excellency Minister Nevin Kilani, those in charge of the ceremony, the members of the Board of Trustees, and the writers and journalists.

- Art Criticism Award
Sarah Ahmed Hassan Odeh won first place and received a shield of honor and a certificate of appreciation, second place went to Shaima Samir Abdel Moneim Abbas, and third place went to Shaima Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel Rahim.
- Architecture Award
The first place was won by the individual participation of Janet Ahmed Muhammad Ali, who received a shield of honor and a certificate of appreciation, and the second place was won by the group participation of Muhammad Nasser Mahmoud Hassan, Nidaa Hani Mahboub Ahmed, Abd al-Rahman Imad al-Din Rashad Ismail, and the third place was won by the individual participation of Muhammad Badawi Shehata Badawi, who also won a certificate. The first place and honorary shield was won by Hanan Muhammad Mamoun Al-Saeed, the second place was won by Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim Mustafa Kamel, and the third place was won by Tasneem Ahmed Muhammad Ali.
- Sculpture Award
The first place and honorary shield was won by Hossam Mustafa Ramadan Mohamed, the second place was won by Ibrahim Awad Mohamed Ibrahim, and the third place was won equally by Marwa Magdy Eid Abdel Ghani and Mohamed Saeed Mohamed Mohamed Al-Mansi.

The first place and honorary shield was won by Ahmed Salah Arif Al-Jundi, the second place was won by Khaled Al-Agizi Fathallah Ahmed, and the third place was won by Shadi Muhammad Hamed Ibrahim.
It is worth noting that the exhibition continues until March 7, 2024 at the Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek.
