We announce "What happens to us when we are no longer a
possibility?" - Exhibition by Osama Ehab & Islam Allam
Set between imperceptible mechanical dysfunctions and recurring moments of stasis, the exhibition creates a space where gears and machines coexist with the fractured body, inviting a reflection on interruption, repetition, and the psychological strains that are difficult to escape. The works unfold within a climate of exhaustion and disruption, where time appears slow, and accumulated fragmented narratives of failure and recovery.
The exhibition engages with notions of consumption, attempted healing, and repair, tracing their effects on the body and everyday life. The works intersect with imagined returns to a “normal state,” exposing subtle patterns of anxiety and tension, where the absence of support becomes an extension of uncertainty and disorientation.
The exhibition opens on Sunday, 22nd of June, 2025, from 7 - 9 PM at Medrar. And runs until Thursday, 10th of July 2025, from 4 to 9 PM daily except Saturdays and Fridays.
