Gamasa International Fine Arts Forum
A tribute to the sea, color, and light
*The second edition of the Gamasa International Fine Arts Festival honors artist Madeleine Tabar for her lifetime of artistic achievement and as one of the icons of art and culture in the Arab world.*
The forum is held under the patronage of Major General Tariq Marzouq, Governor of Dakahlia, and Dr. Amr Abdel-Aati, Head of Gamasa City. It is chaired by art critic Dr. Khaled Al-Baghdadi, with artist Iman Abu Al-Gheit, Head of the Awan Foundation for Culture and Arts, serving as General Coordinator.
This unique event features many prominent figures in the field of art and culture from Egypt and the Arab world, including:
Artist Mariam Al-Zadjali from the Sultanate of Oman. The artists participating include Najwa Rashid from Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Al-Ateeq from Qatar, Noura Al-Abd Al-Hadi from Kuwait, Hessa Kela from Qatar, Sahar Anani from Saudi Arabia, Yousef Al-Nahawi from Oman, Marie Dripcourt from France, Ahmed El-Genainy, head of the Cairo Atelier, Mustafa Ghoneim, head of the Art and Life Foundation, the active artist Galileo, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Ghada Abu Senna, Azza Elias, Lobna Sadek, Samar Anani, musician Walid Al-Husseini, and the UGO Youth Group. *Why is the festival in Gamasa? The Dakahlia Governorate has always been a vibrant source of culture and the arts.
In this context, the Gamasa International Arts Forum, the first of its kind in the Delta region, is being organized to provide a much-needed cultural and artistic service to millions of people.
The forum offers numerous other benefits, including cultural and artistic promotion, tourism and media promotion, and the exploration of the historical memory of Gamasa in particular and the Dakahlia Governorate in general, placing it on the map of Egyptian, Arab, and international culture.
The forum will be held at the Police Officers Club in Gamasa from July 25th to 29th, 2026.
