"The Family Art Project": Share an Idea with Your Child and Create Your Own Project Together

When was the last time you sat down with your child to create something together?

As part of the 7th Visual Arts Experimental Cycle 2026, the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, presents the "Family Art Project," one of the "Share Our Life" initiative's experiences, which this time places the family at the heart of the creative process.

The idea starts with you: an old family photo, a story from your grandparents, a craft you know, a place you love, a memory, or something you keep at home. Choose your idea, research it together, and then transform it into something that suits you: a work of art, a story, a short film, a podcast, a craft product, or a digital project.

You don't have to be an artist; all you need is an idea, a desire to experiment, and a family willing to work together.

Finally, the completed projects will compete for:

A first prize of 10,000 Egyptian pounds for the best family project
In addition to encouragement prizes and certificates of participation.

Starting Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 5 PM

As part of the mandatory project workshop in the 7th Visual Arts Experimental Session.

Share a story your child is experiencing for the first time, or learn an idea from them that you never thought of before... and create something that belongs to you.

One idea... one family... one project.
