"One Meter x One Meter: A Free Space for Creativity"

The Exhibitions and Art Collections Department at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is pleased to invite you to participate in the 19th Agenda 2026 Exhibition:

• Artists may participate in any of the visual arts fields (painting, drawing, sculpture, engraving, collage, photography, mosaic, ceramics, digital art), provided that the works have not been previously exhibited at any Bibliotheca Alexandrina exhibition.

• Two-dimensional artworks must not exceed one meter in length and width, including the frame, and may be a single piece or divided according to the artist's vision. Three-dimensional artworks must not exceed one meter in length, width, and height, including the base, and may be a single piece or divided according to the artist's vision.

• Applications for the exhibition must be submitted electronically through the official Bibliotheca Alexandrina website no later than Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

• Upload a high-resolution image of the artwork and a personal photograph to the online application form. The image must be at least 300 DPI, or at least 1 MB in size for a personal photograph and 2 MB for an artwork image to ensure suitability for exhibition prints.

• A clear, two-dimensional photograph of the artwork, framed if applicable.

• A three-dimensional photograph of the artwork from all angles against a plain background.

• The artwork must be completed and fully executed at the time of submission.

• The artworks will be reviewed by the specialized art committee at the Library of Alexandria. The committee will decide on the most suitable pieces for the exhibition theme, and its decision is final.

• Only those whose work is accepted will be notified of their participation in the exhibition. Selected artworks must be submitted to the Exhibitions Unit at the Library of Alexandria no later than Wednesday, April 1, 2026, before 12:00 PM. • Each participant must review the participation guidelines and conditions and adhere to them, particularly the registration deadline specified on the participation form, the submission deadline, and the requirements for the artwork.

• Artists must collect their artwork within two weeks of the exhibition's conclusion to ensure its preservation. The library is not responsible for artworks not collected within this timeframe.

Important Notes

• Applications that do not meet all the required conditions and those marked with a mandatory asterisk will not be accepted.

• The form must be completed electronically. An email will be sent to confirm successful registration.

• Artists may modify their registration form until the final registration deadline.

• Submission of the form constitutes the artist's acknowledgment of the originality of their artwork and their full responsibility for it.
