"Buds," "Fingerprint and Hole," and "The Secret Garden": Diverse Art Exhibitions at Al-Jazira Art Center
Al-Jazira Art Center in Zamalek witnessed the opening of three diverse art exhibitions on Wednesday evening. The exhibitions were inaugurated by Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, in the presence of a host of artists and those interested in the Egyptian art scene. This event constituted a cultural showcase highlighting different artistic schools and visual perspectives.
In the Ahmed Sabry Hall, the "Buds" exhibition by visual artist Fathi Abdel Salam was opened, representing a unique visual experience. During his speech, Dr. Mahmoud Hamed praised the experience, emphasizing that it is "a landmark that transcends the traditional representation of elements of reality to broader horizons of mental and visual association." He explained that Abdel Salam delves into the essence of memory and imagination to create new paths in the realms of photography and visual art, capable of transforming fleeting moments into enduring artistic expressions thanks to his mastery of modern techniques and his high level of visual eloquence.
The Ragheb Ayad Hall hosted the jewelry art exhibition "Fingerprint and Piercing" by artist Rasha Al-Qasir. In his remarks, the Head of the Fine Arts Sector noted that the exhibition offers a captivating journey through time and beauty via jewelry design, adding, "What we see today is not merely decorative jewelry, but rather independent works of art that speak of the spirit of the rich Arab and Islamic heritage, drawing inspiration from ancient architectural and decorative elements in a contemporary style that blends authenticity and modernity."
In the Hussein Fawzi Hall, the "Secret Garden" exhibition by artist Narmin Bahaa El-Din opened. Under the title "Inner Worlds Pulsating with Nostalgia and Peace," Dr. Mahmoud Hamed commented on the exhibition, saying that those who contemplate her works are not merely looking at paintings with vibrant colors, but are embarking on a journey into the depths of the human soul.
