Under the title “Mirrors,” the Egyptian Opera House will host an exhibition by the artist Ahmed Refaat, at six in the evening on Saturday, February 17, in Salah Taher Hall, and will continue until Saturday, February 24.
The exhibition includes 42 works executed with a variety of materials, including handmade paper, earthy colors, cotton and linen gin fibers, and dried aloe vera fibers. It reflects the relationships between the different colors of art to express one of the goals of art, which is the ability and imagination of the creator and the recipient to produce and savor the abstract work of art.
It is worth noting that Ahmed Refaat obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University in 1988, and obtained a doctorate degree from Helwan University and New York University. He has many solo exhibitions in addition to his participation in many group exhibitions and local and international workshops.
