Mask and Dance

Mask and Dance

Do we wear masks or dance to liberate ourselves? Live footage from the opening of artist Rana Salama's "Mask and Dance" exhibition in Alexandria.

At the Mahmoud Said Museums Center in Alexandria, attendees gathered for the opening of the solo exhibition by Alexandrian artist Rana Salama, titled "Mask and Dance." The "Ajyal 2" hall was filled with paintings that posed intriguing questions about ourselves and what we conceal behind our everyday expressions, through a blend of symbolism and the freedom of human movement.

The exhibition, organized by the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, witnessed a remarkable turnout and interaction from a select group of visual artists, art critics, and visitors to the center, who participated in interpreting this innovative expressive experience.

The doors are now open, and the invitation continues for all art lovers and the Alexandrian public to visit the exhibition and experience this visual dialogue full of rhythm and movement.
