A free tour of his museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina On the occasion of the Ministry of Culture organizing a celebration for the great artist Shadi Abdel Salam on December 11 under the title "Shadi Day", under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, coordination was made with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, headed by Dr. Ahmed Zayed, to organize a free virtual visit to his museum at the library via an electronic link that allows those interested to learn about the most important creations of Shadi Abdel Salam during his life. It is the museum that the library began working on establishing since its opening in 2002, and it was opened on March 15, 2005 on the occasion of Shadi Abdel Salam's diamond jubilee. The museum contains approximately 350 paintings and original sketches of the artist from the films in which he participated as a costume designer and set designer; for example: "Wa Islamah", "Almaz and Abdo El Hamouli", "Amir El Dahaa", "Rabia El Adawiya", "City Lights", "El Samman and El Khareef"; and others... or the films for which he wrote the scripts and directed such as his only and most famous feature film among his works "El Mummy..
