Villa Azad invites you to the solo exhibition of artist Shaaban El-Husseini, “Earth and Sky,” Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM.

In “Earth and Sky,” Shaaban El-Husseini explores one of the great dualities in the history of photography: the suspended relationship between the material and the immaterial, the earth with its weight of reality and its struggles, and the sky with its open spaces for dreams, light, and liberation.

The artist addresses this expanse between what binds and what transcends, between what we live and what we imagine, to present works that reinterpret the delicate space within which human experience is formed—the distance in which we grieve, rejoice, heal, and are reborn.

“Earth and Sky” is a celebration of what lies between the two:
