Contemporary Photography

The magic of Alexandria through the eyes of its youth... Join us for the opening night of the "Contemporary Photography" exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Alexandria.

What does Alexandria look like when the stories of its sea and ancient streets blend with the vision of a new generation of artists? The answer awaits you within the walls of the "Hamed Owais" Hall, where the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, is organizing an exceptional group exhibition entitled "Contemporary Photography."

The exhibition tells the story of an inspiring artistic experience of scenic landscapes in the heart of Alexandria, undertaken by a group of young contemporary artists to document the spirit of the city with renewed visual perspectives. These creative works were produced under the supervision of a select group of photography professors from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University: Professor Dr. Hawaida El-Sebai, Professor Dr. Sahar Dargham, and Dr. Aya Hamed. This reflects the sector's ongoing commitment to supporting talented individuals and infusing new life into the art scene.

We eagerly await you on this unique visual journey. Let's celebrate together the creativity of artists taking their first steps towards the future.
