The Cairo Opera House is holding an exhibition for three artists: Salwa Rushdi, Ahmed El-Wakeel, and Hoda Ahmed Mowafy, under the title Ceramics. It opens at seven in the evening on Monday, December 18, in Salah Taher Hall, and continues until Wednesday, December 27.

The exhibition includes 90 works, each of which carries a different vision of the art of ceramics, which combines the heritage of the craft with contemporary techniques to produce a unique artistic blend.

It is worth noting that the three artists studied at the hands of the sheikh of potters, Saeed Hamid Al-Sadr, nicknamed the Wizard of Pots, and as a result they succeeded in creating a distinctive artistic character of their own, as Salwa Rushdi held many local and international private exhibitions, and the Museum of Modern Art acquired many of her works. As for Ahmed Al-Wakil and Hoda Mowafi They have many participations in various exhibitions, including the Fifth Exhibition of Applied Art (Fine Arts Lovers Association), the First Annual Fine Arts Exhibition for Egyptian Artists, the Exhibition of Egyptian Artists Working in Kuwait, the General Exhibition of the Fine Arts Society of Kuwait, and others.
