The Cairo Opera House Hosts "Artistic Rebirth" with 112 Paintings from Various Artistic Schools
The "Artistic Rebirth" exhibition opened at the Hanager Arts Center in the Cairo Opera House. Organized by the Taif Youth Initiative for Culture and Arts, led by visual artist Mohamed Mamdouh Rizk, the exhibition features a selection of visual artists from across Egypt, aiming to support creativity and discover and nurture artistic talent.
The opening was attended by a number of public figures and leaders in the executive and cultural sectors, including Fatima Al-Zahraa Jil, Head of the Central Population Unit at the Ministry of Local Development; Counselor Moataz Abu Zeid, Vice President of the State Council; Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, President of the Arab Federation for Education and Scientific Research; Counselor Ismail Al-Ansari, President of the Egyptian International Organization for Human Rights and Development; Counselor Hassan Al-Bahiri, President of the National Council for Supporting the Presidency; and Hamada Saeed Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President of the National Council for Supporting the Presidency.
The opening was also attended by Major General Ayman Raafat Gabr, President of the Port Said Historical Society; MP Mostafa Ayman Gabr, Member of Parliament; Sherine Okasha, Director of the Population Unit in Damietta Governorate; Engineer Ingy, Director of the Adam Henein Hall at the Hanager Arts Center; Rana Sarhan, Director of the Advertising Department at the Damietta Governorate General Office; Dr. Nada Mahny, Capacity Building and Skills Development Consultant; visual artist Ahmed Biro, General Coordinator of Visual Arts and Culture in Cairo for the National Council to Support the Presidency and Cultural and Artistic Advisor for the Taif Youth Exhibitions; visual artist Mohsen Serry; artist Hassan El-Araby; and a number of media figures, businesspeople, and those interested in visual arts.
The "Artistic Rebirth" exhibition features 112 paintings from various artistic schools, reflecting the richness of artistic experiences and the diversity of creative visions of the participating artists. The works range from Surrealism and Cubism to Impressionism and Realism, clearly drawing inspiration from international art movements associated with leading figures such as Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and Vincent van Gogh.
The exhibition offers a visual experience that blends originality and innovation, opening broad avenues for dialogue between artists and the public through works that embody contemporary visions and ideas.
The exhibition affirms the role of art in building awareness and strengthening cultural identity. The Taif Youth Initiative is committed to providing a platform that brings together artists from across Egypt, opening new horizons for dialogue, creativity, and the exchange of experiences.
The "Artistic Rebirth" exhibition continues at the Hanager Arts Center in the Cairo Opera House until July 27, 2026.
