From Imagination to Creativity: The Museum of Modern Art Hosts Visual Arts Events

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, the seventh experimental session of the Visual Arts 2026 program continues. Organized by the Visual Arts Department of the sector, the program aims to connect art with family, reflection, writing, and interaction with space, reinforcing the role of the arts in human development and fostering creativity.

The events will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Egyptian Museum of Modern Art, in the main atrium and the Abaad Hall. Families, children, and youth will participate. The program includes the "Art and Family" project, the "Our Games" workshop, the "Your Dream in Arabic" project, and the "In Arabic... Like This" workshop on Arabic calligraphy.

The events also include the "I Am in the Museum" workshop and the "If I Were the Painting" workshop, both focusing on creative writing and thinking. These workshops transform the viewing experience into a space for imagination, questioning, and expression.
