Sunday, 19th of April, from 6–9 PM for the opening night of Mona Kamal El Ganzoury’s exhibition at ArtTalks. In this exhibition, Mona El Ganzoury brings together familiar figures from art and film—reassembling them into new and unexpected relationships. Blending the sacred with the playful, well-known artistic references meet childhood icons, blurring the line between high and popular culture. The works feel both comforting and slightly unsettling—moving between nostalgia and reflection, and raising questions about identity and authenticity. Each artwork holds a balance between closeness and distance. While the figures appear connected, each still stands on its own, reflecting the tension between individuality and belonging.
